• 914CE limit switches are particularly suited to applications with limited space. They have a compact design and feature a 25 mm hole-hole mounting footprint. The mounting holes for screwing the limit switch into place are counter-bored. This means that the screw heads fit within the housing of the unit, and no additional real estate is required when mounting the switch.
• Installation of 914CE limit switches is quick and easy. Each unit only requires two M5 (or #10) screws for mounting. Pre-leaded cables and M12 micro-change connectors minimise installation time.
• This series offers a great deal of design flexibility. You can choose the most appropriate cable length and whether the cable or connector exits the unit at the side or bottom. These switches are supplied with either an M12 micro-change four-pin connector or are pre-leaded with UL cable.
• Utilising the gang mounting capability, you can build your own multiple plunger switch using models with a pin plunger or roller plunger. When using this functionality, there is a 16mm distance between the plungers. IP Rating:
All models within the 914CE series meet IP65, IP66, IP67, IP68. This ensures that they are completely dust tight, offer protection against jets of water and can be immersed in water up to 3 m.

NEMA Rating:
Every 914CE limit switch also meets NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3R, 4, 6, 6P and 13 requirements.

Type 1: Allows for indoor use and offers a dregree of protection against access to harzardous parts by personnel. Enclosures that meet NEMA 1 also protect the enclosure against foreign solid obkects(such as indoor dirt).
Type 2: Allows for indoor use and provides a degree of protection against access to hazardous parts. The enclosures provide a degree of protection against foreign objects (such as falling dirt) and the ingress of water (light dripping or splashing).
Type 3: Allows for indoor or outdoor use and provides a degree of protection against access to hazardous parts. The enclosures provide some protection from foreign objects (such as windblown dust) and the ingress of water (such as rain or snow). Enclosures that meet NEMA 3 offer protection against ice forming externally.
Type 3R: Allows for indoor or outdoor use and provides a degree of protection against access to hazardous parts. The enclosures primarily provide ingress protection against water (such as rain, snow or sleet). Enclosures that meet NEMA 3 offer protection against ice forming externally.
Type 4: Allows for indoor or outdoor use and provides a degree of protection against access to hazardous parts. The enclosures provide some protection from foreign objects (such as falling dirt and windblown dust) and the ingress of water (such as rain, snow or sleet alongside splashing water and hose directed water). Type 13: Enclosures that meet Type 13 are suited to harsh environments. Enclosures can be used indoors and provide protection against access to hazardous parts. They offer protection against solid objects such as falling dirt, windblown dirt, fibres and lint. They provide a level of protection from dripping and splashing water and other liquids such as the splashing, seepage and spraying of oil and non-corrosive coolants.

914CE limit switches are not emergency stop devices or safety devices. They must not be used in devices, applications and environments where injury can be incurred as a result of product failure.

cURus, CE

914CE2-9 is a single pole double throw (SPDT) snap action limit switch. It has one nomally closed (NC) and one normally open (NO) contact. It features silver contacts as standard.

This limit switch has a parallel top roller plunger acutator and is fitted with a 9 feet long UL cable.

914CE2-9 has a maximum operating force of 12.2 N or 2.75 in-lb. It has pretravel of 1.8 mm and an overtravel range of 3 mm.
