OMRON Limit Switch, Screw Terminal Connection Type, 0.5mm Contact Gap - Z Series - Z-15GQ21-B

Do you need a basic switching solution that responds to physical contact? This limit switch from OMRON is the answer. Applying 2.45 to 3.43N to its cross roller plunger actuator causes the contacts to close, sending a 15A signal to the next layer in your process. As it accepts voltages of 125 and 250V AC, this is a versatile option for use with powerful electrical systems, like assembly lines. Heavy usage is no trouble for the unit, which handles up to 120 operations a minute.

Features & Benefits

• Compatible with DC supply voltages, including 8 and 14V, for flexibility
• Highly reliable as shown by its rated lifespan of at least 10 million mechanical operations
• Standard M12 mounting thread for use with common connecting parts
• Gold-alloy contacts fend off rust for protection in humid environments

Applications

• Warehouse storage
• Distribution centres
• Industrial automation and control

What operating temperature range can this limit switch handle?

It's designed for use in ambient temperatures as low as -25°C, provided there's no ice formation. As it also handles up to +80°C, the unit's ideal for applications in harsh work areas.
