OMRON Limit Switch, Snap Action Type, 250V DC Maximum Voltage - Z Series - Z-15GW22B

Need to keep a beady eye on your automated operation? This limit switch from OMRON has monitoring and control covered. It has a roller actuator that activates or deactivates the circuit when it's triggered by a force of 160g, keeping your application moving or shutting it off in the event of a malfunction. The unit has silver contacts that resist corrosion to deliver long-term performance in challenging industrial settings. As this snap-action switch moves back into position automatically, there's no need to reset it manually.

Features & Benefits

• Gets on with the job reliably in an operating temperature range between -25°C and +80°C
• Mechanical life of 10 million cycles for long-lasting reliability and accurate repeatability
• 0.5mm contact gap protects against arcing to enhance safety and limit potential damage to equipment

Applications

• Conveyor systems
• Aerospace industry
• Food production
• Packaging plants

Is this limit switch protected against surges?

Yes. The switch is insulated to withstand a voltage of 1000V AC at a frequency of 50/60Hz for one minute, minimising the risk of electrical breakdown.
