OMRON Limit Switch, Snap Action Type, IP67 Rating - ZC Series - ZC-Q2255

Want precise control of automated systems like conveyor belts and robotic arms? Depend on this OMRON limit switch. When it detects the position of an object, the plunger actuator gets to work in 0.05 to 0.5m/s, telling the inbuilt contacts to open or close the connected circuit and stop or start a machine. The 10A fuse protects your system from overcurrent damage. A mechanical lifespan of at least 10 million operations means this is a long-lasting choice that keeps pace with fast-moving processes.

Features & Benefits

• Performs reliably in a wide temperature range from -10°C to +80°C
• IP67 rating indicates protection against dust and temporary water immersion, so performs in contaminated settings
• Rated insulation voltage of 1,000V AC for protection against surges
• Weighs just 92g, so won't strain your setup

Applications

• Access barrier control
• Picking lines
• Packaging machinery

How does the actuator mechanism work?

The plunger actuator consists of a spring-loaded rod that extends from the switch housing. When an external force or object presses against the plunger, it triggers the switch, activating the contacts.
