Telemecanique Sensors Limit Switch Operating Head, Roller Plunger Type, 30° Cam Switch Actuation - OsiSense XC Series - ZCKE629

Need to keep track of linear machine movement in two directions? Choose this limit switch operating head from Telemecanique Sensors. It uses roller-plunger actuation to detect objects approaching from either side, keeping you up to date with the location of items in the system. Thanks to a spring return mechanism, the head automatically resets to its original position, ready to bounce back into action. Since this unit's compatible with products from Telemecanique Sensors’ XCKJ series, it's a versatile choice.

Features & Benefits

• Positive opening contacts add an extra level of protection in the event of a fault
• Wide operating temperature range between -40°C and +70°C for use in extreme conditions
• Durable metal construction can stand up to the demands of heavy-industrial use

Applications

• Packaging machines
• Materials handling
• Food and beverage processing

What are positive opening contacts?

This important safety feature means that the actuator forces open the NC contacts on a limit switch as it moves. If arcing or any other failure condition causes the contacts to stick together, pressure from the actuator breaks the weld mechanically, which stops the machine safely.
