Sensata Cynergy3 Optical Sensor Level Switch, Transistor Output - OLS2 Series - OLS200D3LSH

Use this optical sensor level switch from Sensata Cynergy3's OLS2 series for liquid detection in your industrial systems. It has an infrared emitter and a phototransistor, both of which are aligned with a cone. Upon contact with a liquid, the coupling is reduced as the infrared light escapes due to refraction. The body material is made from polysulfone, a durable material that's resistant to degradation from hot liquids. This device is useful in a variety of applications from dry pump protection to leak detection.

Features and Benefits

• Cable length of 250mm for access to hard to reach areas

• Operating temperature range of -25°C to +80°C makes it suitable for use in extreme environments

• Compact design for space efficiency

How do I install this sensor?

This sensor can be installed on either the side or bottom of a tank, but not at the top facing downwards. Drill a 12mm hole on a flat surface, making sure it's free of burrs to prevent leakage. You can then either insert the device into the hole or screw it into an M12x1 socket.
