Sensata Cynergy3 Optical Level Sensor, 250mm Cable, 7 Bar - OLS2 Series - OLS200D3SH

Reliably measure the volume of liquid in a container using this Sensata Cynergy3 optical level sensor. Its body mounts to a container terminal and connects to a switch via the three wires for ease of assembly. The sensor detects the level of a liquid above or below its infrared emitter. When the levels pass this point, the sensor electrically flicks the switch to let you know your container is full or empty. You can use this level sensor in vegetable oil vats, brake fluid containers or water catchments.

Features & Benefits

• Precise infrared beam prevents false triggering due to foaming
• Maximum operating pressure of 7 bar provides accurate readings in low-pressure systems
• Wide operating temperature range of -25°C to +80°C for use in hot or cold liquids
• Cable sheathed in PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) for resistance to chemicals

What is this sensor made of?

The body of this level sensor is made of polysulfone (PSU), a sturdy polymer that resists chemical breakdown when exposed to water and oxygen to ensure long-lasting use.
