Schneider Electric Black Key Switch, 3 Positions, Panel Mount - Harmony XB4 Series - XB4BG33

This three-position key switch from Schneider Electric is ideal for safe machine operation in industrial environments. The two contacts are separated by a central off position, so turning the switch 45° breaks all connections before you turn it to the next set of contacts. This enhances workplace safety by preventing dangerous equipment from being accidentally turned on. This switch is activated with a key that can only be removed in the off position, so it's safe to use with heavy-duty machinery. A spare key is included in case one is mislaid.

• Service life of 1,000,000 cycles for reliable long-term use
• IP69K (ingress protection) rated for protection from dust and hot, high-pressure water
• 22mm diameter for use with standard panel cutouts
• Screw connectors for easy installation
• Wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +70°C for use in extreme industrial conditions

Applications

• Control stations
• Loading platform controllers
• Communications and data
• Alarms

Why would I need a key switch?

Certain equipment can be dangerous if activated accidentally or at the wrong time. Removing the key prevents inadvertent and unauthorised use.
