RS PRO 3.5 mm PCB-Mount Composite Video Jack Socket, 4-Pole


These 3.5 mm 4-pole jack connectors – part of the RS PRO range – have a wide variety of applications. They can carry a mic channel and a stereo audio connection at the same time. So whether you're using them with a gaming console or to connect a DVD player to your TV, they're a convenient solution for a high-quality audiovisual experience.

The connectors have contact plating made of a nickel-silver alloy, which prevents oxidation and improves performance and durability. Nickel is also a comparatively hard metal, so the plating is resistant to wear-and-tear. For additional protection, the units are housed in long-lasting nylon bodies. As they mount on a PCB (printed circuit board), there's reduced likelihood of loose connections and short circuits.

These connectors are RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) compliant so they don't contain levels of hazardous substances above 0.1%. They've also been shielded from dangerous electrostatic discharges while being handled and packed. You'll find 4-pole connectors such as these in modern smartphones and headsets.
