RS PRO 17.9 mm Plain Stainless Steel Hex Flanged Nut, M8, A2 304
This RS PRO hex flanged nut is a wide-flanged fastener that acts as a non-spinning washer. Its flanged portion on one end allows you to distribute the pressure of the nut without the need to purchase or install washers – metal discs that keep nuts, bolts and screws from coming loose.
Made from stainless steel, this piece is durable and resistant to corrosion. Its flanged end, 17.9 mm in diameter, has teeth that securely latch onto whatever surface it's being installed on. This allows for stronger protection against vibrations and knocks. It's 8 mm in height and 13 mm in width.
These hex flanged nuts can be used for soft installation materials, assembly lines and within the automotive industry. They're RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) certified, meaning they contain only trace amounts of hazardous materials.
