Need small-size lock nuts for model engineering applications? These 2BA lock nuts mate with small BS 57 standard hex-headed bolts that make scaled fastenings easier to represent. The lock nuts are also widely used in miniature instrumentation as they are viable for applications with space constraints.
Made from brass, these full lock nuts are nickel-plated to ensure good resistance to tarnishing, corrosion and rust. The hexagonal shape allows you to tighten them using a standard spanner. As part of the RS PRO range, this product undergoes rigorous testing for quality and durability. The lock nuts meet a range of international standards including protection against damage from electrostatic discharge (ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007).
