RS PRO Heating Element, 3 kW, 220 V AC
This heating element from RS PRO is specifically designed for immersion in oil tanks. The spiral shape provides maximum surface area for heat transfer while allowing for a compact size. The unit is easy to install. Simply pass the head of the heating element through a two-inch hole in the side of the tank. The supplied gasket forms a tight seal to ensure more efficient heating of the tank's contents. For safety, there's also an included thermostat, so the heating element automatically shuts off when the correct temperature is achieved.
This product is suitable for heating oil in industrial or workshop applications. It runs on mains power and can be connected to a normal 3-pin plug for quick and easy installation.
