RS PRO Heating Element, 2 kW, 220 V AC
This mains-powered heating element from RS PRO provides a source of conducted, convected or radiant heat. It's suitable for use in water or in air, making it a versatile choice.
Thanks to its minimum bend radius of 13 mm, the heating element can be bent into any shape, making it easy to adjust for your application. One end of the element has a terminal for an electrical connection and the other end has a ceramic insulator for protection against electric shocks. The long coil between the two ends uses resistive heating to efficiently convert energy to heat. There's also an Incoloy alloy 800 sheath that's made from nickel, iron and chromium, so it can withstand extreme temperatures of up to +800°C.
For greater flexibility, you can mount the heating element using either crimp connectors or through holes. Use this product to heat small quantities of water in immersion tanks. It's a good choice for heating small rooms in domestic or office settings.
