RS PRO Steel Zinc Plated Hasp and Staple


This hasp and staple from RS PRO is designed to let you securely close a storage compartment such as an office cabinet. The mechanism can be locked with a padlock to prevent unauthorised access to its contents.

The hinged hasp and staple is supplied with pre-drilled holes that allow you to attach it to a door and adjacent frame with ease. Both components are made from strong steel that's not easily broken and stands up well to regular use. Zinc plating increases the lifespan of the unit and means its unlikely to rust.

A hasp and staple like this can be used to secure an outbuilding, shed or large toolbox. It's built for heavy-duty environments and has a square hole in its hinge flap that's compatible with a carriage bolt to prevent easy removal of the hasp.
