The cast body is strong yet lightweight and its powder coat finish is resistant to chipping and scratching. When the blade breaks, you can easily change it for a new one.
The hacksaw meets both U.S. (ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014) and U.K. (BS EN 61340-5-1:2007) electrostatic control standards, meaning it won't damage equipment via electrostatic discharge. Hacksaws like this are commonly used across DIY, construction and industrial settings for cutting a variety of materials.
