Hammond 1590W Watertight Diecast Aluminium Enclosures, Flanged


The Hammond 1590W series is a light duty diecast watertight aluminium enclosure suitable for housing electronic instruments. It has a lap joint construction with a self-adhesive silicone gasket which provides IP65 protection against dust and water and also provides improved EMI/RFI shielding.

Diecast aluminium alloy 384 (tough yet easy to machine)

Lap joint construction with a silicone rubber gasket

Designed to meet IP65

Silicone rubber gasket remains flexible from -62 to +232 °C (-80 to +450 °F)

Unpainted with a vibra finish for a smooth surface with no sharp edges

Low side wall draft angle (2 degrees or less) for easy P.C. board mounting

Supplied with

stainless steel lid screws and neoprene "O" rings.
