IP66/IP67/IP68 Deltron 486 series Diecast Aluminium Boxes


The heavy duty aluminium series of enclosures from Deltron have been manufactured to withstand tougher environments where a hardwearing box, combined with ingress protection (IP) may be required. They are dust proof, splash proof and protected from powerful jets of water offering electronic circuitry protection in both indoors and outdoors. Enclosures sealed to IP68 offer the best protection against water ingress, having been tested to a depth of 10 m for 20 hours.

Lid supplied with stainless steel (SS304) M6 x 25mm long captive screws

3mm one piece die cut silicone rubber sponge seal (01-255FR) with self adhesive backing (01-255SAB), suitable for-60 to 240°C

Minimum seal thickness and seal frame width 3.5mm

Minimum enclosure wall and lid thickness 3mm

Integrated PCB guides and standoffs

Integrated earth fixing points and is supplied with brass shake proof screws
