Hammond Enclosure, 100 (L) x 50 (W) x 25 (H), Die-Cast Aluminium Construction, IP54 Rating - 1590 Series - 1590G

When equipment has to stand up to the elements, give it cover with this enclosure from Hammond. Built with diecast aluminium alloy, it's tough and corrosion-resistant. A screw-down lid keeps your kit secure inside. Lap joints between the box and lid create a seal. This ensures the unit has an IP54 rating, meaning dust and water splashes stay on the outside. The draft angle of the box walls is no more than 2°, meaning you can get your components on board without any bother.

Features & Benefits

• Metal walls provide EMI and RFI shielding to cut down on equipment noise and interference

• Vibra finishing means the box's surface is smooth with no sharp edges to cause snags

• Tapped holes for assembly in a flash

Applications

• Instrumentation

• Industrial controls

• Audio equipment

• IT systems

What's the maximum board size that fits in this enclosure?

You can fit boards with a maximum length of 94.23mm and width of 44.23mm in this enclosure. That means there's plenty of space for standard square and rectangular PBCs.
