Why does this enclosure have flanges?
The enclosure lid has flanges on two sides to ease the task of wall and shelf mounting. It attaches with the lid facing the wall, so the lid screws are hidden behind the enclosure. This keeps it tamper-resistant, giving you peace of mind when housing sensitive equipment.
