The Microchip Highly reliable BiCMOS and DMOS buffer driver and MOSFET gate drivers designed to operate without latching under any conditions within specified power and voltage ratings. They can tolerate up to 5V noise spikes of either polarity on the ground pin and withstand up to 0.5A of reverse current, in either polarity, at their outputs without damage or logic upset.
