Sensata Cynergy3 In-Line Flow Switch, 10A, 250V AC - FSP10 Series - FSP10A30

This in-line flow switch from Sensata Cynergy3 directly controls an electric pump. It's used in gravity-fed systems to increase the pressure or flow of water. Its brass tube is strong and corrosion-resistant for a durable, long-lasting connection to a pipe. As it automatically starts a pump when the flow rate exceeds 3L/min (litres per minute), there's no need for manual intervention, making it simple to use. When water demand recedes or a tank empties, it turns the pump off. You'll find switches like this one used in irrigation and plumbing systems.

Features & Benefits

• Polyamide (PA) housing that's resistant to wear for an extended service life
• IP54 (ingress protection) rating for protection against dust and water splashes from any direction
• Supplied with electrical terminations for convenient installation

Where should I mount this flow switch?

You should install this in-line flow switch in a pipe directly above the pump. As its operation relies upon water flowing against gravity, you should mount it vertically with the flow direction upward.

How do I know if the switch is working properly?

You can check the function of the switch by using the test button that's located underneath the device.
