RS PRO 4-1/2 in Tank and Cistern Float, 5/16 Thread
Use this RS PRO plastic float as part of a float valve system in a cistern or a tank. The float rises and falls with the water in the tank, triggering a valve in the cistern to open or close in order to regulate the water level.
This float is made of a lightweight impermeable plastic that allows it to rest on top of the water while ensuring that it won't be damaged by repeated exposure to moisture. You can safely use it at pressures of up to 14 bar (206 psi), making it suitable for pressurised applications.
Float valves are commonly used in a wide variety of domestic, commercial and industrial environments. You can use them for drainage control, as well as to control the water level in toilets, basins or swimming pools.
