Sensata Cynergy3 Horizontal Float Switch, Polypropylene, 240V AC - RSF70 Series - RSF74YNP

Need to monitor liquid levels in your system but don't have access to the inside of the tank? This Sensata Cynergy3 horizontal float switch is designed for external mounting. A nitrile gasket and back nut ensure a tight seal to prevent leaks. As the nitrile material is resistant to abrasion and chemicals, it will last a long time without wearing down. You'll see float switches like this one installed alongside pumps and alarm systems in industrial containers, wells and sewage systems. They're also commonly found in vending machines and food processing equipment.

Features & Benefits

• Wide operating temperature range of -20°C to +100°C for use in demanding environments
• NO/NC (normally closed/normally open) configuration offers flexibility for different set-ups
• M12 plug for easy connections without the need for additional tooling
• Polypropylene (PP) body material for durability and chemical resistance

How does the product work?

This switch consists of a pivoting actuator with a magnet that moves as the liquid level rises and falls. This causes a change in the electromagnetic field. When the switch's sensor detects this change, it triggers the contacts to open or close.
