Sensata Cynergy3 Float Switch, 5A Switching Current, 20 Bar Maximum Pressure - SH-3 Series - SH-3052

To automate the filling of your industrial tank, choose this horizontal float switch from Sensata Cynergy3. You can use it to trigger an alarm or to control the action of your pump, so there's no need for you to manually regulate liquid levels. The switch is designed for external mounting, which means you don't need access to the inside of your tank. Its stainless steel body is resistant to corrosion for an extended lifespan. It's also resistant to many chemicals for use in demanding applications. You can use this float switch in applications such as the chemical industry or domestic appliances.

Features & Benefits

• IP65 rating means it's dust-tight and protected against low-pressure water jets
• Wide operating temperature range of 0°C to +100°C for use in demanding environments
• Maximum pressure of 20 bar for use in high-pressure tanks

How does a horizontal float switch work?

A horizontal float switch has a hinged float attached to its housing that rises and falls as liquid levels change. When the liquid reaches a certain predetermined level, the float closes or opens the circuit to prevent underfilling or overfilling.
