Sensata Cynergy3 Horizontal Float Switch, 1m, 600mA - RSF40 Series - RSF43H100RF

Detect high liquid levels and prevent overflow in a container with this Sensata Cynergy3 float switch. It can also detect low water levels, letting you know when the tank has been properly emptied or filled.
The float switch sits on top of the surface liquid and turns on or shuts off when the liquid levels rise or fall. It's a horizontal component that's designed to be mounted on the side of your container. This makes it suitable for use on a tank where the top and bottom are inaccessible. You can use this float switch in applications such as commercial washing machines or vending machines.

Features & Benefits

• Nylon body material with high tensile and compressive strength for long-lasting use
• Broad operating temperature range of -20°C to +75°C for use in demanding applications
• Insulated with a nitrile gasket ring for resistance to water and oil
• Reversible switch action by rotating the device 180º for greater versatility

How does the opening and closing mechanism on this switch operate?

The float component has a magnet inside that moves closer to the switch component as the liquid level changes. The force of the magnet causes the reed in the switch to make it open or close.
