Features & Benefits

• Wide operating temperature range of -10°C to +120°C for use in a variety of demanding environments
• Robust stainless-steel body protects against corrosion and offers reliably long service life

How does a float switch work?

A float switch is commonly used in a tank to control the minimum and maximum liquid levels. When the fluid level reaches a minimum level, the switch signals a pump to operate and refill the tank. When the maximum liquid level is reached, the switch tells the pump to stop working. This means the fluid levels in the tank are maintained within a pre-set range.
