RS PRO 16 Way Unscreened Flat Ribbon Cable, 20.3 mm Width, 5 m
Joining data-transmitting devices? Choose this 16-way unscreened flat ribbon cable from the trusted RS PRO range to mass terminate easily. It's commonly used when connecting computers, audio or digital equipment, measures 20.3 mm wide and comes in a 5 m roll.
It's simple to use, as you can tear the ribbon between conductors to divide it, using the red marker that indicates the first conductor as a guide. Inside there are seven 0.13 mm² (AWG 28) conductors. It has a voltage rating of 300 V. In addition it's temperature-resistant, so will operate from -20˚C to +105˚C.
RoHS compliant, it contains minimal hazardous substances. It conforms to the UL 2651 standard so is safe to use with all insulation displacement connectors (IDC). It also meets electrostatic discharge ANSI/ESD S20.20:2014 and BS EN 61340-5-1:2007 requirements, so it won't damage equipment.
