The plug housing is constructed from zinc alloy, offering full shielding for enhanced durability and performance. It includes contact blades made from phosphor bronze alloy, plated with 50 micro inches of gold for optimal conductivity, and IDC contacts made from phosphor bronze alloy with a 100 micro inch 100% Sn alloy coating, ensuring reliable connections.
