Its black PVC sheath is flame-retardant and non-corrosive, as well as being UV-stable and oil-resistant, so it's built to stand the test of time. Shielded in copper, this wire has superior conductivity and is protected from EMI (electromagnetic interference) to provide a stable internet connection. It has a voltage rating of 300V AC and 450V DC, making it a versatile choice.

Cat5e Ethernet cables can support network speeds of up to 1GB (gigabyte) per second, while regular Cat5 Ethernet cables have a network limit of 100Mb (megabit) per second. As such, you can have a faster internet connection with a Cat5e version.
