This RS PRO ESD (electrostatic discharge) earth-bonding plug provides a common ground point for grounding circuits. It safely redirects excess electrical charges, protecting you and your home or workplace from fire hazards and electric shock.
The product plugs into most mains sockets and forms a connection with the earth terminal. Two non-conducting plastic pins slot into the live and neutral terminals for a secure fit. The plug has two stud connectors at the front so you can connect to various elements of the EPA (electrostatic discharge protected area). It's also permanently sealed, which prevents misuse and provides protection from electrical hazards.
This versatile plug fits UK European CEE 7 VII Schuko sockets used in Belgium, France, Germany, Holland and Spain. You can use it to establish a grounding point in offices, laboratories and industrial environments where protection from electrostatic discharge is essential.
