The solenoid-driven clanger produces a loud and clear ringing sound at 106dB, so it can be heard even in noisy environments. The robust steel gong is powder-coated with zinc, so you can be sure it's highly resistant to corrosion. As the polypropylene mounting box is UV (ultraviolet) stable, it won't deteriorate in bright sunlight. These features and a wide operating temperature range of between -25°C and +50°C make it suitable for use in harsh conditions.

Yes, this alarm bell has a high IP66 (ingress protection) rating, making it resistant to multi-directional, high-pressure water jets. It also meets the IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) standard 60533:1999, making it suitable for ship installations.

The Moflash A6BM and A8BM solenoid driven bells have been designed and manufactured to withstand harsh environmental conditions. They are ideally suited to heavy duty industrial & marine applications where rugged construction and a high weatherproof classification is required. The bells produce a rich and clear traditional sound that is free from mechanical clatter. Up to 4 x M20 cabling entry knockouts, two from above and one on either side allow for loop in/loop out cabling applications. The A6BM and A8BM caters for 4 x 2.5mm² termination inside the enclosure.
