RS PRO Black Electrical Tape, 19 mm x 20 m
This PVC (polyvinyl chloride) electrical tape from our tried-and-tested RS PRO range is the perfect choice for effective and long-lasting insulation in all kinds of general electrical and mechanical applications. Coated with a cross-linked, solvent-based rubber-resin adhesive, the tape can withstand a wide operating temperature range from -20°C all the way up to +150°C.
The flexible tape easily conforms to awkward shapes for ease of use in the field. The tape is water-resistant, flame-retardant, UV-resistant and self-extinguishing by nature. As part of the RS PRO series, this high-grade PVC tape is stringently tested for quality and consistency.
With a rated breakdown voltage of 10000 V and the ability to endure rapid temperature changes, the electrical tape is especially useful in the insulation of high voltage cabling such as in power distribution systems.
