This miniature linear actuator from Festo uses a piston rod and integrated stepper motor to produce reliable mechanical actuation. A ball screw converts the motor's rotary motion into linear movement, moving the piston rod with precision. The recirculating ball spindle lowers the friction between the nut and screw to maximise efficiency of operation.
• 24V input voltage reduces the current, meaning you can use smaller-diameter wire, making it particularly suitable for long wiring runs

How do I programme this linear actuator?
This actuator is fitted with two connectors. One of these operates motor control, while the other handles the encoder signal. Both connectors can be connected to the Festo CMMO-ST (125-9895) controller, with web-browser-based configuration to enable quick and easy setup.
