Festo Miniature Electric Linear Actuator, 24V DC Input Voltage, 200mm Stroke - EPCO-25-200-3P-ST-E
Need a reliable actuator to provide precise control and positioning in your system? This miniature electric linear actuator from Festo is a reliable alternative to commonly used pneumatic actuators. You can mount it in a wide variety of configurations to accurately position loads of up to 30kg. It's fitted with two connectors – one to operate motor control and the other for encoder signals. Both of them can be connected with the Festo CMMO-ST (125-9895) controller for quick and easy setup via a web server to help you position loads as accurately as possible.
• Recirculating ball spindle reduces friction between the nut and screw to increase efficiency
• IP40 (ingress protection) rating means it's protected against objects over 1mm in diameter

How does an electric linear actuator work?
The mechanical actuation is produced using a piston rod and integrated stepper motor, with a rotating ball screw to convert the rotary motion of the motor into linear movement. This moves the piston rod backwards and forwards with a high degree of precision.
