The RS Pro Standoff Flush Cutter features a flush end design optimized for specific electronics applications, cutting component leads at 1.5 millimeters from the surface. It is suitable for copper wire with a diameter of 1.30 millimeters or 16 American Wire Gauge, with a steel thickness of 5 millimeters. Equipped with a return spring that maintains constant force, the tool reduces operator effort. Made from high carbon steel with a controlled atmosphere heat treatment, it includes an anti-reflection phosphating surface treatment for enhanced visibility during use. The anti-slip bi-material dolphin handle follows ergonomic principles, ensuring a secure, lightweight, and comfortable grip for the user.
