Convert high primary current to low secondary levels using this Phoenix Contact current transformer. This device operates in a power supply to prevent overcurrent and lets you safely monitor voltage with an electrical measuring instrument like an ammeter. The 55:1 primary to secondary current ratio means you can use this transformer to convert large voltage inputs up to 55A AC/DC. A handy LED (light-emitting diode) signal conveniently shows you the device's status.

As it has a wide operating temperature range of -20°C to +60°C, this transformer's a versatile choice for use in demanding industrial environments. Phoenix Contact's trademark green casing is made from PA (polyamide) material that's abrasion-resistant and durable.

The chassis mount design lets you mount this current transformer in any position without complex wiring. Install it in your electrical control units for accurate reading of alternating, direct and distorted currents.
