The Chauvin Arnoux E Series current clamps can be used to measure alternating and direct currents by means of Hall-effect technology. Their unique long, narrow shape facilitates measurement in confined spaces where access is difficult or when there are a large number of electrical cables and conductors present. The clamps in the E Series are all equipped with an automatic DC Zero system and a deactivatable standby mode. They can be powered by a battery or a standard 5 VDC power pack (option) via their Micro USB connector. They offer two different sensitivities and output an alternating and direct voltage signal (mVac+dc) which is a faithful image, in terms of the waveform and amplitude, of the current measured.
