Mueller Crocodile Clip
The Mueller crocodile clip was designed as a holder for painting and plating applications. It has smooth jaws to prevent damage and is made from stainless steel for easy cleaning. The jaw openings are 13mm apart. The clamping force at the jaws is 4±.5 lbs (1.8±.2kg) at .25in (6mm) jaw spread. The large versions of these clips, called automotive clips or battery clamps, are made of solid copper. For low electrical resistance, it is used with thick insulated copper cables to make connections between automobile batteries.
