The Mueller crocodile clip is a standard grounding/bonding cable with a copper crocodile clip. It is constructed with 10 AWG braided copper rope. The serrated jaws, used for creating a temporary electrical connection are 27mm apart with BU- 21C solid copper clips on each end. It can also be used as connectors. The large versions of these clips, called automotive clips or battery clamps, are made of solid copper. For low electrical resistance, it is used with thick insulated copper cables to make connections between automobile batteries.
Quick and cost-efficient assembly or modification of experimental circuits Used with batteries, small light bulbs and other small electrical devices to teach students about electricity Used as miniature clamps to hold parts together for gluing or soldering Useful as a heat sink while soldering heat-sensitive devices
