Microchip Technology IoT Module


The Microchip Technology IoT module is an extension-board to the Xplained Pro evaluation platform specifically optimized for low power IoT applications. The extension-board allows you to evaluate the ATWINC1500 low cost, low power Wi-Fi network controller module. It has many advanced features like power amplifier (PA), low noise amplifier (LNA), power management, micro co-ax connector for an external antenna and small form factor design. This module provides SPI ports to interface with a host controller. Supported by the Atmel Studio integrated development platform, this module provides easy access to the features of the ATWINC1500 and explains how to integrate the device in a custom design.
