CW02 – Wi-Fi & Bluetooth Core (ESP32/ESP32-WROOM-32/ESP-WROOM-32)
This xChip is a core Wi-Fi module, based on the ESP32 produced by Espressif Systems, which is a single 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and dual-mode Bluetooth combo chip designed with TSMC ultra-low-power 40 nm technology and Tensilica Xtensa Dual-core 32-bit LX6 microprocessor, with a clock rate of up to 240 MHz.
The ESP32 is highly integrated with built-in antenna switches, RF balun, power amplifier, low-noise receive amplifier, filters, and power management modules. Engineered for mobile devices, wearable electronics, and IoT applications, ESP32 achieves ultra-low power consumption through power saving features including fine resolution clock gating, multiple power modes, and dynamic power scaling.
