Belden 4K UHD Coaxial Cable, 16AWG, 305m Length - 4794R Series - 4794R 0101000

When you need a rugged connection for your outdoor video installations, this coaxial cable from Belden fits the bill. The solid copper wire is silver-plated to increase conductivity and corrosion resistance. An insulating high-density PE foam provides a crush-resistant layer that can withstand tough conditions. It's shielded with tinned and braided copper for flexibility and durability. Two additional layers of aluminium and polyester foil increase the shielding. The foil is folded to ensure metal-to-metal contact which prevents signal leakage, giving you a high-performance and long-lasting cabling solution.

Features & Benefits

• Retardant materials to slow the spread of flames in the event of a fire
• Foam and foil are easy to strip when adding connectors
• PVC (polyvinyl chloride) jacket increases strength and corrosion resistance
• Length of 305m for use in long-distance and complex installations

Applications

• UHDTV (ultra-high definition digital video) connections
• Digital cinema
• Broadcasting and communications

Can I use any coaxial cable for my video installation?

Although all coaxial cables are useful for connecting communications equipment, there are different types. This RG (radio guide) 7 coaxial cable type has low signal loss and an impedance of 75Ω (ohms). This makes it well-suited to precision video applications such as broadcast television and broadband installations.
