This means they are completely protected from solid matter ingress, such as dust and or sand, and are protected against water, even to the point of temporary submersion.

Its versatile fixing strap is designed for both field-attachable and receptacle connectors, and features a flexible loop to fasten around the connector housing of a field device. You can also use the bore hole on the strap to fix the cap with a screw.
