TE Connectivity SLC Series MIL-C-38999 Spin-Lock Saddle Clamp Backshell Cable Adapters
TE Connectivity SLC Series MIL-C-38999 Spin-Lock saddle clamp variable angle backshell cable adapters that enable braided cable shield to be terminated to a Raychem code 40 D38999 connector (see note) in a straight ,45° or 90° orientation as well as provide strain relief. The swivelling body of these Spin-Lock saddle clamp cable adapters is made from aluminium alloy with an electroless nickel plating to SAE-AMS-26074 Class 3 or 4 Grade A. The body rotates around the axis of the cable and locks into position using a Tinel-Lock ring system that minimizes stress on the cable and provides robust strain relief. These Spin-Lock saddle clamp backshell cable adapters have MPS-103 performance specification and typical applications include military and commercial aerospace, military marine, military ground systems and commercial ships and off-shore marine
