The TE Connectivity braking resistor is designed to increase the braking torque capability of a variable frequency drive. This produces faster and more controlled braking for the drive and increases the braking torque of the drive system. Each braking assembly is assembled using heavy gauge galvanized steel with a wired terminal block and provisions for an optional thermostat.
