RS PRO Aluminium Housed Axial Wire Wound High Power Resistor, 1 Ω ±5% 300 W

Need to bring resistance to a high-power circuit? This RS PRO resistor is designed to limit the flow of energy in your electrical systems. It adds up to 1 Ω of resistance to your circuit and is commonly used in situations where power dissipation is crucial.
The aluminium casing holds a resistor that's wire-wound to ensure it remains compact and can fit in small spaces. It's easy to panel mount this component onto any flat surface using the pre-drilled screw holes.
This resistor conforms to the 18546 United States Military Standard (MIL) for wire-wound resistor safety. The component is often used in large electrical and production machinery, motor start-stop cycles and equipment discharge.
