The tread is made from polyurethane which is ideal for heavy duty load bearing capacities and provides the advantages of rubber tread in caster wheels. Polyurethane tread offers high-quality noise and friction reduction and floor protection, it offers higher abrasion, tear and cut resistance than rubber. This material is also rated with a higher hardness.
