LAG G80 Series Castors with Polyurethane Tyre and Cast Iron Twin Hub, Extra Heavy Duty

Twin cast iron wheels, fitted with shielded bearings to prevent contamination and dust. Swivel types have a taper roller bearing and single thrust bearing with grease nipple and head seal which provides a smooth roll. These castor wheels are designed for heavy industrial use and heavy loads, bearing upto 2000 kg.
The tyre tread is made from polyurethane which is ideal for heavy duty load bearing capacities and provides the advantages of rubber tread in caster wheels. Polyurethane tread offers high-quality noise and friction reduction and floor protection, it offers higher abrasion, tear and cut resistance than rubber. This material is also rated with a higher hardness with a life expectancy 10 times that of rubber.
Polyurethane is able to carry loads approaching that of cast iron. Polyurethane has a lower tractive resistance than rubber for the same load so is better for manual handling of very heavy loads. Polyurethane is not affected by greases and mineral oils.

Features and Benefits:

• Polyurethane tyre
• Wheel series Z
• Swivel
• Abrasion Resistant, Oil and Grease Resistant
• Quiet Operation
• Withstand temperatures of -30°C to 80°C
• Non-Marking

Polyurethane tyred wheels have high tear strength and abrasion resistance which gives them a life of up to 10 times that of rubber under similar operating conditions. Polyurethane is able to carry loads approaching that of cast iron. Polyurethane has a lower tractive resistance than rubber for the same load so is better for manual handling of very heavy loads. Polyurethane is not affected by greases and mineral oils.
