Belden FIT Wire Management Series Cable Sleeve, Natural, 2.57mm Maximum Cable Diameter - TFT25011 NA005

This cable sleeve is a heat-resistant tubular sleeving MADE from polytetrafluoroethylene for protecting and insulating small-diameter wiring in demanding industrial environments. It is intended for use where thermal endurance and electrical insulation are required across a wide temperature span, and it is supplied in a natural colour for unobtrusive installation.

Features & Benefits

• Withstands temperatures from -75°C to 260°C for wide thermal range performance
• Dielectric strength 870V/mil provides robust electrical insulation
• Wall thickness 0.41mm offers thin-profile protection
• High tensile strength 2000psi resists mechanical stress during routing
• Low water absorption 0.01% reduces moisture-related degradation
• Volume resistivity 1x10^18 ohm-cm ensures excellent electrical isolation

Applications

• Suitable for wiring in automation equipment exposed to heat
• Ideal for insulation of sensor and control leads in electronics
• Used with cable assemblies requiring small-diameter sleeving
• Can be used for harnesses in electrical and mechanical systems
• Suitable for retrofitting heat-critical interconnects in machinery

What internal diameters are available to fit small conductors?

The sleeving accommodates internal diameters from 2.31mm to 2.57mm to suit narrow cable cores.

How is the material resistant to chemicals and biological agents?

It passes corrosion tests at 0°C for 16 hours with no corrosion and meets fungus-resistance requirements, indicating good chemical and biological stability.

What electrical characteristics support its insulating role?

Besides the dielectric strength and high volume resistivity, it has a dielectric constant of 2.1, which aids predictable electrical performance.

How is the product supplied for installation efficiency?

It is available in multiple put-ups, including 500 ft and 100 ft lengths, with specified limits on piece counts per roll for manageable handling.

Does the sleeving contain halogens or lead?

It is lead-free but is not halogen-free.

Approvals

  AMS3653 and ASTM D 3295
