RS Pro Sleeved Cable Grommets


The RS Pro 543-282 is a PVC sleeved cable grommet for wires up to 6.4mm in diameter. It is designed for use in electrical installations with panels that are 2.4mm thick.

What is a sleeved grommet?


The sleeve is an additional piece of PVC which extends the grommet to provide strain relief. The sleeve itself measures 14.3mm in length and provides additional support to the cables as they enter/exit the panel. The additional length supports the cables and prevents a tight bend which may strain the cables.

Why choose PVC?


The 543-282 grommet is made using a pliable PVC in black. PVC is ideal for grommets at it is strong and durable, and can therefore provide protection to the cables passing through.
